Monitoring

Uptime monitoring

Watch your sites and APIs with scheduled HTTP checks, and get alerted the moment something goes down — or recovers. Runs on our edge, with no token permissions needed.

Keep an eye on your sites and APIs with HTTP checks that run on a schedule. Ampliflare tracks response times and tells you when something’s wrong — and the same monitors power your public status pages.

An endpoint is checked on a schedule; when a check fails, an alert is sent to your team

Create a monitor

The Uptime Monitors list showing each monitor's status, URL, and check frequency, with alert recipients below

Point a monitor at any URL and tune how it’s checked:

  • Check interval — how often to run the check.
  • Timeout — how long to wait before treating a check as failed.
  • Expected status code and optional response-body match.
  • Redirect handling — follow redirects or treat them as the final response.

You can optionally bind a monitor to one of your zones to keep things organised.

A monitor's detail panel showing its method, frequency, last-checked time, a test-probe button, and a list of recent checks with response codes and timings

Alerts

Add email contacts to a monitor and Ampliflare will let them know when the endpoint goes down — and when it recovers.

Runs on our infrastructure

Monitoring doesn’t touch your Cloudflare account at all — checks run on Ampliflare’s own infrastructure, and each monitor keeps its recent results independently. No extra token permissions are required.

Plan limits

Faster checks and longer history come with higher plans:

Why we built this

We've spent years shipping production systems on the Cloudflare stack. We love the edge, but got tired of waiting on features and scripting around the rough edges just to operate day to day. Ampliflare began as the internal tooling we built to fix that, and we turned it into a product so you can skip the friction and focus on shipping.
