What it does
Calibre Zen rethinks calibre's interface so the hard things get easy and the easy things get trivial. It installs alongside calibre, so your libraries, settings and plugins stay exactly where they are.
Your libraries open as they are, and calibre plugins work too. calibre stays installed and untouched.
Filter panel
Replaces the tag browser. One screenful of rows at a time, with counts beside each value.
Book preview
A split centre pane shows the selected book above the list, with a Grid and Table switcher.
Cover grid
Three densities, with every cover cropped to one shape.
Six colour schemes
Match system, light, dim and dark, applied without a restart.
179 redrawn icons
Line glyphs that take on the colour of your palette.
Metadata with a preview
Each download match is a card, so you can see what would change before you pick one.
